Prince Edward Island's implementation is effective with the 21 July 2026 agreement. PEILCC's two pages name different sets of reciprocating jurisdictions and neither carries a date: the notice of 23 July 2026 lists Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador, while the direct-to-consumer page lists Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario and Saskatchewan — the same set without Newfoundland and Labrador. Both exclude British Columbia and Quebec. We publish the discrepancy rather than pick the more convenient list. PEILCC publishes a list of authorized producers on its direct-to-consumer page under the heading “See below list of Authorized Producers for reference”, each with a website link, and hosts a request form that must be completed and signed by “any out of province manufacturer or producer seeking authorization to sell and ship alcoholic beverages directly to consumers for personal consumption” in the province. Applicants declare that they will file quarterly reports and remittances and that they will register with Encorp Atlantic and remit the Container Recycling Fee. Neither page carries a publication date. Non-Island producers must provide proof of all necessary licences and permits from their home jurisdiction before product enters the PEI market, and PEILCC collects sales data and the appropriate tax remittance fees on those sales. British Columbia is delayed to February 2027. PEILCC's own direct-delivery page has not been updated and still states the policy extends only to delivery to residents of Prince Edward Island — that page is an in-province list and should not be read as interprovincial.
